COVID-19 Service Changes (Check Back for Updates)

A number of services and order methods have changed. Please read below so you are aware of additional changes as they come.
Rentals (Currently Live)
*Update: Shipping is no longer included in rentals. Prices have been lowered accordingly in order to allow for renters to choose the shipping option that best fits them and to also provide cost savings in some instances for those able to use Ground services or local pickup at our NYC Film Lab location. Shipping charges shown at checkout are for both outbound and inbound (return) shipments back to us. Return shipments ship back at the same speed as outbound shipments to you according to your selection. If you need to change this at a later date, please contact us directly and provide at least 3 business days’ notice. Shipment speeds can only be upgraded and cannot be downgraded unless you are also extending your rental period.
Within 24 hours of a rental being placed, we will set up a call directly to collect payment information for the deposit. Occasionally, this call may be set up at a later date closer to the expected rental ship date. Deposits may be charged earlier, but it will still be a renter’s choice to wait until just before the rental ships to place the deposit, even if we get the payment information sooner. However, all such payments will have to be done manually with phone verification.
Shipping rentals as “Hold for Pickup/at Location” is standard for all standard rentals, although direct-to-address shipping is still available for a $10 surcharge withheld from the deposit return upon request (or by selection at checkout, payment still to be collected later).

Note: We are experimenting with both including and not including physical return shipping labels in our rental packages. Some packages may still have a label, however, some may not. Please feel free to send us feedback on this process as we adjust. If you do not have a return label, please let us know so we can provide a return label within a week or so of your rental return due date. Let us know if you do not receive this email for any reason.
Shops/Product Sales (Currently Live)
Our online shop is also currently live. Orders ship within 2 business days.
Film Processing and Scanning (Moved)
Send us any 35mm AND 120 orders! Both are processed and scanned (Noritsu) to the same standards through our new lab, NYC Film Lab, which offers affordable 2-Day FedEx shipping options from anywhere in the U.S., Alaska and Hawaii included. Please check out on the NYC Film Lab website for film services.
Classes (Available Remotely)
While our in-person classes are of course discontinued indefinitely, we can still provide online support via video chat the way we always have for those outside Los Angeles and Chicago. Now, we’ll simply do this for everyone! Classes are run over your choice of Google Meet or Zoom and are also discounted if you use the code STAYSAFE upon checkout.
