We do not charge late fees to make extra money. On the contrary, we charge them to save other renters time and money.

When an item is late, we have to expedite shipping and/or compensate the next renter for the delay. In some cases, we may forfeit that rental entirely if the subsequent renter of the late item wishes to cancel the order entirely following the possibility of a shipment that cannot arrive within a reasonable amount of time.

These late fees go directly to cover these associated costs.
